ANNOUNCEMENT – Invitational Tournament

Czech Invitationals 2017

Dear chessfriends,

Beginning from this year 2016, Czech CCA started a long-term project „Czech Invitationals“.

Invitational tournaments started within this project will be designated for players with lower and medium Elo ratings who normally often have been omitted in the invitational tournaments so far, with the aim to enable them to fight for new CCE and CCM norms and titles. The first 4 sections have been started on 1st December 2016.

The particular sections will be named after Czech, Moravian and Silesian rivers.

For the year 2017, the Czech CCA has the pleasure to announce the invitational tournament „Czech Invitationals 2017“, approved by the ICCF WTD, and cordially invites your players to participate. In the year 2017, we intend to start 4 sections:

 

Czech Invitational 2017 – Section Radbuza 05

All sections will start on 1st December, 2017 and contain max. 7 Czech players (invited on an individual base) and min. 8 foreign players. It is possible that after the deadline for entries we will be asking you to nominate more players to the sections Úhlava 07 and Berounka 08. The tournaments will be played on the ICCF webserver, with a standard ICCF time control of 10 moves/50 days.

No prize fund will be available. The first 3 players in each section will receive
a commemorative trophy and a certificate issued by the Czech CCA.
